We design for motion, economic energy and results, in old and new communities, that make sense within their context.
Simply put, transportation projects can either be a good thing or a bad thing. Projects like streetscapes, traffic and pedestrian plans, and gateways are created to attract investment, commerce, and new citizens—good things.
Mass transit projects like interstate thoroughfares, bridges, and rail systems are good things that can produce efficient travel, but if they are not created with sensitivity to their environs, they can cause major community problems.
We produce all of our transportation projects with two things in mind; a measurable return on investment and sensitivity to the context of the project. Take a look at examples of how we use ROI (Return-on-Investment) and CSS (Context Senstive Solutions) in our Transportation Studio.
